How do I create a UPS User ID?

How do I create a UPS User ID?

Unlike some companies where you create a general user ID for various purposes, UPS utilizes a different approach for employee logins. Here’s why you likely won’t create a UPS User ID yourself:

  • Pre-assigned Employee ID: Most likely, you already have a UPS employee ID assigned to you during the onboarding process. This ID serves as your primary identifier for accessing various UPS systems and resources.
  • UPSers Login: The UPSers platform, designed specifically for employees, utilizes your existing employee ID for login purposes. You wouldn’t typically create a separate user ID within UPSers login itself.
  • Company Portal: If UPS uses a separate company portal for employees, your login credentials might involve your employee ID and a password you set up during initial access.

Here’s what you can do if you’re unsure about your login credentials:

  1. Check Your Paystub: Your employee ID number is most likely printed on your paystub. Look for a section labeled “Employee ID,” “Employee Number,” or a similar identifier.
  2. New User Registration Materials: If you’re a new employee and haven’t received your first paystub yet, you might have received information about your employee ID during the new-user registration process. Check any registration emails or documents you received from UPS.
  3. Contact HR Department: If you’re unable to locate your employee ID or haven’t received login information for UPSers or the company portal, your best option is to contact your HR department (Human Resources). They can access your employee information and provide your ID number or reset your password if needed.

Additional Tips:

  • Don’t include “@” and UPS.com: When entering your employee ID for login purposes on company systems, avoid including “@” or  at the end. Typically, only the numeric or alphanumeric ID itself is required.
  • Case Sensitivity: Depending on the system, your employee ID might be case-sensitive. If you’re unsure, try entering it in both uppercase and lowercase to see if it works.

By following these steps, you should be able to access your UPS employee accounts using your pre-assigned employee ID and password. Remember, creating a separate user ID isn’t the typical process for UPS employees.
